Long story short, I found some possible agates in a place in Michigan with is the geological equivalent of vanilla ice cream (quartz is a rare find).
I also found them in a rather high volume, and returned to the site recently. I'd like to post some follow up finds and I'd encourage you to check back at the other post if you haven't seen it. I'd love some expert input!



And finally, this weirdo. A gray-blueish partial geode with circular banding towards the bottom and some quartz crystals in the center.


I think it's worthwhile to mention that I found all of these <400 feet from each other, and I've never heard of anyone pulling ANY sort of agate from this region. Thoughts?
