Hey folks,
I snapped some pics of Sammie today, and thought you'd like to see how big she is getting. I was getting my detecting equipment ready this evening for a morning hunt, and turned on my Etrac to load a setting. I swept the coil along the floor not realizing Sammie picked up one of the Kids program detectors and started mimicking me! I love this kid.
The other house pics are of a 1700's home on the historic "Wilderness" trail that runs close to my house. I got permission to detect it, but it is way too grown up right now.

that Sammie is gonna be a heartbreaker Mike. She's beautiful. Is she the one you were holding when I talked with you on the phone the other day? You said you were holding a 16 month old and had to put her down. That old home place sure looks like a good spot to find some treasures. Good luck to you when you get to hunt it.....

That old home looks older than you may think. Looks like old-growth chestnut framing: hasn't been around in over 100 years, and difficult to find to restore 1700's dwellings now. Chestnut blight has made most eastern chestnut a thing of the past. You may have found more treasure than you thought.

'Bout time you posted some recent pics of Sammie!!
Dang Mike she gets prettier every time I see her. That little girl is gonna break some hearts big time. Know you and Maggie are proud as can be.
Can't wait to see what you find at that old place. Looks like it's got great potential.
