It looks very much like one with the metal reed gone, but I can’t swear to it.

The stock it is made of appears to be square or ridged in cross section, not round. That is a characteristic of jaw harps I have found.
Love that photo with the moss rock! That is cool! That rounded piece looks like the handle portion to an old clevis pin.
