hit my favorite spot again today ,,,,,, made out like a bandit,, got my best barber quarter by far,, it was sittin on a root, so only showed a reading of 1 in'' that is my scratch you see there,,,, rats.......... besides that its in great shape.... also got a liberty nickle. 4 old wheats and a 1912 canadian nickle.... a first for me..... someone tell me its silver,,,,,,
lie to me if ya have to,,,,,,,,lmao..... that was at 7 in'... fun day out there.

Not only is the dime silver, it's sterling silver (0.925) versus U.S. silver which is 0.900.
Nice looking Barber quarter too.

Nice going. I had one of those fish scales too. They are so small, easy to lose, no doubt. And a nice bit of silver to them.

Don't worry about the scratch, it gives it character. At least you didn't do what I did and fold a 1767 coin in half with your shovel. I'm still pi$$ed about that one.

Sweet finds.

Have yet to find canadian silver. Found "canadian wheats" but not silver. Guess if I lived more toward Buffalo I might have a better chance....

Great silver finds!That Barber quarter is a beauty.Sorry about the scratch.
Haste can make waste of an otherwise perfect coin.Been there...Done that.
