I know, its the last thing you expect on new unknown & unresearched land, specially after 15 minutes wandering 8)

Wrong! It's exactly what I'd expect from you :laughing7:

Great finds and a first is always more exciting. Hope you find a bunch more.

Great looking finds Cru & Dad! :notworthy:
These two are my favourites. Too bad about the thimble . . . is it silver?

Great silver, and is a ramrod pipe, but not sure if it's possible to say what gun.

I'm just happy that it is a gun part, I so rarely get any :)

I've dug about 6 of the smaller musket ramrod thimbles in the last few years, but haven't been able to find the long piece in a long time. I think I've found three of those total.

Nice hammereds mate :icon_thumleft:, the ram rod holder thingy :tongue3: is a great find, well done . What is the button at the bottom of the 4th picture?

Nice hammy! I've yet to get my coil over a ramrod channel...still looking though!

Congrats on the hammered! The crushed silver thimble is also nice, the only silver thimble I have found was found in England. HH, Mike

The find of fifth photography could be an OGK (they are initial the "only God knows") :laughing7:
Hammered is beautiful ... congrats!

Sweet Hammered! Worth trying the spot again after another plowing.

Yes silver. The keyhole had a screw thread, not sure what for :dontknow:

The thimble looks restorable :icon_scratch:

Maybe you could get the same guy that did Dave's spoon for $15 to do your thimble too! :laughing7:

Cheers,
Dave
