Another hunt with OldDude, and man it was HOT! we both got some good finds too!

Hey guys,
Got out with OldDude today to do some door knocking, first place he spotted we got permission right away, the house had the look, just not the goods! I did however, manage a 44 merc there, no video though, I didn't want the owner hearing me and I didn't want to give it back lol :laughing7:

,

also a silver plated spoon. Not much else to be found there besides heat, humidity, and BUGS!, so we bailed out of there and traveled the country side looking for that next gem, Knocked on a few killer homes only to find out no one was home at a few and then I had 2 renters say they couldn't grant us permission.
Running out of options, OldDude brought us to a home of a coworker of his and we hit that yard pretty good, He managed some goods, but ill let him tell yas, and I got a 46roosie

and a 925 floral pin which I gave back to the owner, the guy wanted to buy it off me cause it was his mother in laws, I gladly said no and gave it back to him , I said its just gonna sit in my collection, so here you keep it. A little later he came back out insisting I took it back, but I wouldn't take it, I told him its no big deal, give it to your mother in law.

Strange thing about today was we dug silvers, but not a single wheat :icon_scratch:

, I don't think that's ever happened to me before, also we both got a little clad, and I got this small toy gun, Im pretty sure I lost 129 lbs today! :sunny:

the merc and roosie make silvers 36 and 37, and I suppose the pin counts as 38 on the year even though I gave it back :icon_thumleft:

I am not even going to post, lol. I told you my observation about who picks the house sets the finds for the other person :tongue3:

. I picked the 2 houses we hunted and I almost got skunked today! 1 lousy silver Roosevelt dime.
That was very nice of you to give that pin back. It was a beautiful little piece of silver and yes, you definitely do get to count it as a silver find! You have pics of it and a witness, lol.

Good work guys, I sat in the sun and swam in the ocean (Ocean City NJ) The sights were absolutely beautiful, varied and plentiful. I miss my machine and wish I could hunt like you guys are. The sea was angry my friends, the tide was high, water temps took my breath away. I might just stick around here and hang out at my local lake clubhouse (I'm a member) beach It will all depend on the bugs.

That's all wonderful, but where are the pics of the beach bunnies I asked for, lol! It was so hot here, Cjon worked the other side of the house 'cause he was afraid this old guy might drop and he didn't want to have to put his medical training to use for free!

Man it was so hot in PA yesterday, I couldn't even look at my detector. You guys did well, well you guys always do well !!! But that heat yesterday here in PA, actually the past week has been rough......We need air conditioned hunting suits that repel bugs and all ticks !!!
