Was walking around my creeks and found this last week idk wut kind of mineral it is but it peaked my curiosity can anyone help

It looks like a clod of dirt dobbers nests, to me.

I didn't think so at first, because it looked to have more of a fractured pattern. But each pattern has it's own color variations as well, so I guess it could be, also looks like it's done some traveling down the river. Very strong bond if conglomerate.

Well that's cool cuz I'm at least 20 miles from a river and 320 feet above sea level maybe I should start looking around some of my ledges and boulders for ancient eddies where gold might have been deposited

It maybe a piece of puddingstone or breccia, both of which are a conglomerate, but it could also be something else.

Knowing what part of the country and part of state this was found would help with a positive ID, because of general types of rocks in a given geological area.
