I discovered how to convert lead into gold toward the end of a bottle of Irish whiskey whilst camping. Recipe as follows:
1 lamington, 2 paperclips, 9-volt battery, secretions from the anal gland of an echidna. Heat to 30 degrees C until the mixed concoction tastes milky. I forget the last part..

I take mine to a jeweler who's son uses the sinkers and the jeweler sizes rings and does a few other tasks for me... It works for me!
