Anyone ever turn a found buckle into a useable one?

just wondering if anyone's ever found a sweet buckle in good enough shape to wear. Think it would be kinda cool. Just a thought.

Wearing a found buckle is the choice of the owner, and imagine it has happened.

However, most military buckles, depending on condition, are very valuable.

I have a CS buckle but choose to purchase an imitation for personal use.

Why chance breaking a point or wearing out the surface, thereby reducing it's value.

I chose to use military buckles to answer this topic...using shoe buckles ? ...using tack buckles ?
