Been nice weather here for a couple days my spot is good n dry, got gold laying there waiting for me, and im to sick with a cold to do more than just sit around all day, by the time I get well it will most likely rain again, Oh well that's murphy for ya

Oh yeah, he's very reliable where I am concerned. Just yesterday, a friend of mine and I were in a wash, prospecting it, and I spotted a nice big chunk of dead wood stuck in the dirt. Figured we could get some firewood for camping later this year, so we put a cable on it and were going to pull it out. Bad idea. Wouldn't budge and when he gave a bit of an extra tug on the (heavy) chain it snapped and went through the rear window on his pickup! Today he checked on his insurance to see if it would be covered and found that his employee who pays the bills hadn't paid his company vehicle insurance payment! Ouch!

GT, for extreme N calli no rain in the forecast thru Jan 1. Get better and take advantage of these super low Dec water levels. I'll keep you in mind as I do just that today. :icon_thumright:

You could be in my boat. I go looking for my keys to my truck this morning, nowhere to be seen. Call the wife who's at work 30 miles from my location, I am climbing the walls and just want to get out of the house. She says, "I took your keys with me as I knew you would not listen to the doctors orders" I have anywhere from 3 to 6 months before I get a shovel in my hands.

ahh..., murphy, yeah, we go way back, he seems to always be hanging around, so much that i've come to exspect him, and when he dosent show, i'm looking over my shoulder,knowing somthings not right!

I have a spare set o keys and remote. So when I called the wife back to ask where that set of keys were. She replied she took the keys from her purse and placed them inside the truck yesterday so that there was no way I would be driving the truck... Just keep in mind Keith that the more you go against what the doctor says,,, The longer it's going to take to heal up and get that shoulder back into shape. Think of it this way... By the time you're all healed up and the doctor says you can go play... She'll be ready to get rid of you for awhile!

I usually get a pass on bad visits from Murphy. After all... I'm related to him on me muddas side O da family so he knows NOT to mess width me!

Murph and I are buddies. That's why I carry a pistol and tools everywhere I can. He can be a fickle teacher. He will teach you to use things as they are not intended. Don't have bolts and wrenches? Duct tape is your friend. No WD-40? Pull the dipstick out of your car a hundred times, same thing. No TP? Why the hell did you put on underwear this morning anyways? Don't really need it the rest of the day, do ya?

has a bad habit of showing up at the worst of times...

Feels almost like the dang flu. Weathers crap here anyhow; at the moment there's 2"
of slop snow on the ground, it's 36F and raining. The weather is expected to improve

Lol Murphy been naughty the last 2 days been raining my grandmother as a narley bruise on her hip she slipped on her basement carpet fell down the steps the sad part is she keeps pulling her pants down to show everyone lol
