Found today right next to cellar hole from 1800'S.though hole is right next to a paved road so no idea how old.My first thought was wood stove legs as was finding cast iron remnants of a stove in same area.Buddy says they are plow points,so is he correct?

Yes cultivator points but also wide bi-face blades can be used to plow out root crops. I doubt peanuts at your latitude but likely potatoes. Perhaps the sweet potatoes the natives taught us how to grow?

That's a great question because I don't see a bolt or clevis pin hole anywhere!
