🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Artist Help & What Message Do You Get From This ?

I am baffled, here's hoping some one may have some ideas, thoughts, opinions etc.
Oil on board with some age to it.... 27 inch X 17 inch.

If you had some story or info on the artist about the art work it may help you to understand what info there is on the importance of these pieces . Some Jesuits and some Indians used art to show others where certain things are located . I've read that the Jesuits were required to send all the treasure they find or were given back to Spain or what ever Country they came from , BUT the Jesuit' had a method of painting locations and info for other's to follow to find the portion of treasure that didn't get back to Spain. Today in St. Louis ,Missouri at the St. Louis University they have gathered all of the Jesuit works of art and display they for their tour of their facility ! I took it before they moved this to their St. Louis Facility and I wanted to take pictures of ALL the art BUT because of the poor lighting , they said NO FLASH CAMARA ! The pictures showed where they were if you had any investigative abilitys you could possibly have some GREAT FIRST HAND HINTS to follow ! Something to think about !

russau .. you are exactly spot on and my thoughts are along the same lines as yours. The two circle shaped objects to me has some meaning
or some sort of clue. Wish I could make out who the artist is. Will have to keep doing more research. Thanks for your thoughts & have a good one .....

Artist help and what message do you get from this?

Now that is quite an interesting oil that you have there that looks to me telling a narrative of someone's event or past experience. What I see ( and I do not dismiss anyone else's) are planes dropping paratroopers. You could research wars Spain wars involved in such as the Infi wars where 75 paratroopers were dropped from a Spanish Casa 352.
You have the cross and a smaller cross. Some possibles, the all knowing eye in the sky and the painting as a whole puts in mind a closed or open window.
This may help and it may not, just my take on it seeing for the first time.
