Blimey we have been kept indoors since the new year by lashings of rain every weekend 🥹 the wettest January ever!

But today a break in the clouds so we literally dashed out the door.. and what a lovely time we (I) had 😆

First off a big A (it’s 4cm high) no idea on that one! Then a broken dress hook, selection of buckles, watch winder, 2 muskets, pieced Sesrtious (Roman Coin) we think, a modern something, buttons, 2 crusty Romans and .. my 2 pierced hammereds 😍 xx

First thought was Alpha. A very exaggerated Alpha. Reminded me of this Alpha and Omega religious pendant I found near a church. About 1 inch or 2.5cm. Maybe that will help with ID. Your piece looks more utilitarian though, like a hook or something? Nice finds again!

I honestly don’t know… tried to convince himself to let me heat it up and drop it on his arm on Saturday… what with it being Valentine’s Day… I thought branding him with the letter A … would be romantic (my name is Andria) surprisingly he was not keen… 🤔 xx

Blossum, do you think there is any chance that this represents a Japanese Tori Gate? Lot's of images on the net. Most, but not, all have a connection between the two cross pieces. Could have been made from an image remembered in someone's mind. My other guess is a brand for the "Scarlet Letter". LOL
