I went back to my daughters house again this morning with visions of old coins dancing through my head. They are determined to STAY just dancing through my head. I can't figure out why I haven't found any old coins. Not even one wheatie! I ended up with a variety of junk and 85 cents in clad. Oh well I got out and got a couple pieces of copper to add to my copper bin soooo I'll take it!

The heart is adorable and you found two cars too! woohooo I do believe I might get away from this keyboard and go detect a bit today as well. I hope I do as well as you did! Not bad at all pretty lady!

The heart is a little girls plastic earring. I found another one just like it up in Live Oak when I lived up there last year. So now I have a pair! ::)

Now you have a new pair of earrings, you'll find some old coins soon. :coffee2:

Keep @ it and HH!!

Old coins will come once you get all of the junk out of the yard and all the clad out of the yard as well.

your in the same boat i am brother! i am waiting and researching for my next hunt. The more i look and read , the more i wonder why i haven't found anything worth gasping about. But patience is good, one day we will have something to show and talk about ! hang in there! good hunting

Nice mix of finds, if the old stuff is there you'll get it with digs like that wtg  Good Luck!

Your turn is coming..before long you'll have some old coins.

For starters, see if you can hunt a private yard in a neighborhood that's 50 years old or older..I found 220 wheats last year in small private yards such as this. If you're lucky you'll also find a silver coin or two.

Best of luck and most of all, have fun!

My daughters place was built in the 40's. It was originally built as cabins for tourists. That is why I thought I would find some old coins around it. But so far every coin I've found has been clad.
