Auburn State Rec. Area

Hello Brother Miners, I am interested in mining in the Auburn State Rec. Area. It is a large area. Can anyone point me to a few good gold places in the park to start prospecting? Thanks,

First the last post was changed to hands and pans only. Call or go to Auburn St. Rec Office and get a copy of the latest insanity. Work the hi/low zone past the end of Drivers Flats as the Ruck A Chuckies have always produced and please let us know what is up rule wise as always in a state of flux and KEEP them rules on you as rangers are historically fools trying to bs to run you off but with rules you call their bluff and send the dogs scampering-. God it was grand back in the day 5-6-8-10" dredges and dozens and dozens and dozens of pounds by myself and friends over the years. Still working water boards but when done I'll download more pics to new puter to post. John

I have been told the hands and pans doesn't apply any longer in the sra, did that change for 2017 by chance

Also since you will be so close to the sra, pop into pioneer mining they can point you in a good spot for sure
