Went fishing at my local reservoir today to see if I could catch some walleye.
I brought home 3 keepers Sunday and was hoping they were still at that
same spot and still biting. My fishing hunting buddy shows up not long after
I got set up. I knew he was expecting a new metal detector he ordered on
line and asked if he got it yet. He said yup and he would show it to me as soon
as he got his poles in the water.
After a while we started talking about other things and kind of forgot the metal
detector. Then I remembered and took a few steps towards his pickup to have
a look at it and this caught my eye.
It was almost all covered up except the outer ring.
I pulled it up slowly and the chain snaked it's way out of the layered
dead grass. I hollered to my buddy, "I don't need no stinkin detector'
People wonder why I walk around with my eyes to the ground. Duh!
I searched and can't find anything similar on the net, I am sure it is there, just
too much jewelry to search through. Any ideas on it's worth?
