Ok. Let me just start by being upfront. This point was here in the farmhouse when we bought the place, down in an old couch cushion they left here 13 plus years ago. Found it again in a drawer recently. Haven’t put it with my collection of stuff we’ve actually found ourselves, while out working couple of the rock overhangs. I would love any thoughts / opinions of this one. Sorry for crappy evening pics. Tried to show the worked edges for you guys. I’m not convinced it’s ancient, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the drive-by ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880887.819944.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880917.375939.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880932.407916.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880944.543126.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880956.465853.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880966.770431.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611880982.382330.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611881028.248114.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1611881049.549192.webp

Maybe it’s legit, but i didn’t even think the material was right at first, thought it was plastic or vinyl until I clanked it against some chert. Thanks again

i think your instincts are spot on, those pieces would be a red flag for me too. I have three fraud piece that are made from that same gray chert.
