Well we survived the trek back to NC. After a week of unpacking, I had a few hours to get out to a 200 acre farm site I gained permission to detect a year back. The yard was obviously never detected, and I managed a few keepers. One of which was a nicely detailed 1908 Charles Barber quarter dollar, a couple Winged Mercury dimes, a handful of wheat pennies, and what I first thought was a Eagle Hat pin (still not sure) A decent CW eagle button and a nice looking, highly gilted civilian button that lost it's shank and was fashioned with 4 holes to be sewn back again.
Thanks for looking

Nice set of finds.
Like the hat pin(?) wonder if that is more modern? Maybe in line with barber and merc dates.
To date(over 20 years) I have never found a fully intact harmonica reed. all are broken.
