Back to North Carolina, and a Charles Barber quarter find

Well we survived the trek back to NC. After a week of unpacking, I had a few hours to get out to a 200 acre farm site I gained permission to detect a year back. The yard was obviously never detected, and I managed a few keepers. One of which was a nicely detailed 1908 Charles Barber quarter dollar, a couple Winged Mercury dimes, a handful of wheat pennies, and what I first thought was a Eagle Hat pin (still not sure) A decent CW eagle button and a nice looking, highly gilted civilian button that lost it's shank and was fashioned with 4 holes to be sewn back again.

Nice Digs Mike!! Glad the move back to NC went well. When you described what you had found over the phone it definitely sounded like a Hardee/ Jeff Davis Hat Pin but now seeing it,

it is actually a more modern design. Still a VERY cool FIND! and lots of other nice finds including that Barber quarter and eagle button Congrats man
