Old man,Pete had a larger design with the last survey with a different boat and a 100ft. cable to the sled and very slow speed to keep the sled on top of sand area.Much better results with that setup.

You would think those trailers would have auto brake lockup as our camper does. We found out the hard way, this month at a family reunion down on the east coast. Tried to leave but the camper brakes were locked good. Turned out a cable has a plug that gets pulled if there happens to be a break away. Once the plug is put back the brakes unlock.

Amazing there wasn't any traffic in that lane, they say traffic in Florida is getting to be too much. Even where I live the number of cars going by, has increased from what it was only a few years back.
