Had another great trip fishing in the Bahamas (my 9-5 job) but when it's blowing or to rough to fish I'm treasure hunting. Didn't have much time this trip to hunt , but got in some detecting, beachcombing, and mudlarking. Found plenty of 18 pound cannonballs, and lots of shipwreck debris on a windswept secret beach deep in the islands !! There were great areas to mudlark, and beautiful potsherds, beach glass, and clay pipe parts to dig along with all sorts of other material. I shared the wreck site with friends and everyone got a cannon ball, and had a great time. My favorite coin of the trip was the 1782 thaler copper .... my first and only so far.

You do a great job sir sharing all your finds and fishing adventures also. You obviously never know what you might dig up there on those islands....!!!! You put Oak Island to shame.

Congratulations on the cannon ball, the Thaler.
The cat is the cat's ass of recoveries. 😁

Awesome...Im so jealous - my kind of hunting
I save a lot of my old pottery and glass - specially from 1600s-1700s
Incredible island adventures Casper.....trying to get back in a couple weeks to do some underwater galleon stuff with permits !! Hoping to step the game up, and go big !! Finally!!

Well sir...there could be some media productions coming....lots of things going at once right now.....I'm crossing my fingers!!

That little cat did please me quite a bit.....gave me a little vision of some 1800s Bahamian children playing in a garden....just a flash of the past for a moment in my mind....the best kind of treasure pepper !! A glimpse of the past !!
