Banded Rhyolite knife/point

Here is another point from N.C that im unsure on what it is. Maybe a knife of some type Its hard to see that it is banded, the pics don't show it that well. Anyone have any ideas.

Does look like a knife, it looks ground (thinned)at the base for hafting. nice find.
