Great 1930's gold mining site on private ranch land in Southern Colorado while on vacation. Man .. that was a lot of fun! Very trashy area but certainly worth the extra time/effort. Glad I brought my small coil with me. This was found in about 8 hours of detecting.

That’s called...knowing that a place has a good chance of holding such things and knowing how to hunt it. Put those two together and you have a good chance of coming out with at least something. This hunt just happened to produce way more than just “something”. Great work my man,a really good example of what can be done by putting it all together!

5X8 .. sniper coil would have come in handy. Lots of deteriorated cans around.
