beach hunt leads to money and REWARD!!!

Took my wife and daughter to Ocean City, MD.
Got to do all the touristy things and I got to detect Every morning.
(just 3 days). out at 4:30 each morning I had good luck.



$28.67 in clad

But, the kicker came when I found a wall, car keys, and phone.
I called the most called number on the phone and got the
girlfriend. I told them what I found and where I was, they came
right down.
The guy was sooo thankful to get those Mercedes keys back,
he insisted I take $40 as a reward. Nice guy!!!

Nice story but I was wondering, did you fit all the coins in one pocket? I bet it took 2. I can detect for hours but have never found that many coins at one time, my best is one pocket half filled.

I always heard that beach hunting was hard. I guess I got lucky, and
there is the fact that I am VERY maticulous in my hunting. I hunt
just like I am mowing the grass. I do one section completely before
moving on to another. That and Luck, I guess.

Nice bunch of coins. I was going to detect there 2 weeks ago, but got too busy fishing. I can tell you the hard way that those mercedes keys aren't cheap. I had to pay $160 for a replacement for mine. That certainly is a lot of clad you got there. I onlys saw 2 other MD's when I was there and they were at the inlet.
