Im protected by GLOCK and Mossburg. Thats just me....not including my wife and my boys. My boy is a gun nut like me!

I have many security steps in place. I also have remote video. Tech has come down so much your a fool not to have a DVR and a multi camera setup in place. The DVR uploads the alarm videos to me via cell and to remote server.

Funny how much you can do with $500 dollars and a little research on the web.

Thefts happen in rural areas too. You aren't completely cut off from civilization, and people can follow you for the 20 min./mi.

That just means the cops are 20 minutes farther away from you when you need them, more important for you to be self sufficient when it comes to protecting yourself and your valuables.
