LOL, kat, we just mean arrowheads. These little guys were used on mighty big game. and little game as well.

.....really....:) guess you can tell I didn't know that! Sorry, thought you guys meant "bird" because they where small or something.....that's pretty funny! Sorry guys for not knowing...learning, learning.....:) Thank you quito for "teaching" me that!

Normally I wouldn't use the term bird point, its not really accurate, it was used somewhat in jest. Many think the little ones were used on birds, and the big ones on big game. It's often doubtful the big ones were even arrowheads at all.

that's right kat
these are the true arrow points
all the bigger stuff you see here would never allow an arrow to fly
the bigger pieces were either used as knives or for atlatls or spears

i mean no disrespect to anyone but personally i don't like the term "bird points"
when i hear someone say "oh that's a nice little birdie" it really bugs me......yep it gets under my skin
these arrow points were used for deer, elk, buffalo, etc

The points posted are amazing but some of the notches on the points are over the top. The makers were real artists. thanks for posting.

Here is one of my best its a Guntersville. Personal find in 2013

...thanks for informing me about that larson, didn't know those things...sorry. Question for you or whoever happens to read this...at about what size does a arrowhead have to be, to be to heavy to fly? I'm kind of blown away to think that my small arrowheads where able to take a deer or maybe even Elk down...have new respect for them now, thanks to you.....:)

Well Kat, a smaller point will penetrate better, and how long will anything live with a little hole in the gut, lung, or heart for example?

....wow....so my little ones were pretty "lethal"....that's pretty amazing to think....thanks for letting me know that quito!
