I don't post very much at all because I don't have many good finds, but today was the bomb. This is out of 1 box.

I actually pick up 3 boxes a week from the same bank. This was the 1st box I went through and was hoping the other 2 would follow suit, however they were both skunks. Its funny, when the teller was in the vault she dropped this box and it busted open, but luckily she still gave it to me anyway even though a couple of liberties were right there at the end of rolls when I opened the box.

Nothing that is in good enough condition to make any difference. Although a couple of the Franks are in really nice condition, maybe FBL.

A box like this just makes me want to up my 3 boxes a week to 6, lol; but with have 2 children under 3, full time work, full time graduate school and jiu jitsu classes I'm kinda busy,

I know what you mean 84. I have one kid, and she's a handful. She loves going on little road trips with me though. She likes helping me sort through them too.

I only do boxes once in a while, but I think I'll hit more of them. The last box I did started feeling like I hit part of a collection in the last few rolls. Maybe I'll hit a silver vein like you just did.

I think I need to pull out some from my stash and post up pics of them and say I got it from a box.. so-called my one and only dream box so that scores of lurkers in my area try to buy up boxes only to find out that they are all new 2001-D's. LOL

I think I will do that when I'm on a skunk streak so fools buy up the skunks boxes for me.

Don't worry about it.. I believe you.. out here on the westcoast, we've been getting nothing but new coins due to all the new CRHers. It frustrates me especially since I've been doing this for so long. I feel like my hobby has been hijacked and gone out of control to a point where finds are meager and we just get new coins to fill the void due to all those newbies trying this hobby.

My last few boxes that I ordered a couple weeks ago said there was "88 boxes" written on the box. I'm sure this is from an inventory check. However when I order a week later, they had no boxes in their vault and I had to go empty for that week. This meant to me that somehow, 88 boxes were used up in 1.5 weeks time in my area. WOW.. I'm guessing this is all due to CRHers. No one else would have any reason for ordering halves.

It has nothing to do with your thread.. I'm just frustrated in terms where things have gone out here. I would like to find new ways to discourage these new CRHers to get them to stop. Your thread made me think of it. I could do this to get all these new CRHers to order while there is a skunk streak going on in my area so they start ordering and end up with skunks. Although, it's a rotten thing to do and I've only THOUGHT of it and have no intentions of doing it. I like to put that into the minds of these newbies. Hey, just like the old prospecting days for gold, it's every man for himself and people won't like newcomers on their turf.

I just wish that silver was back at $20/oz and finds were more plentifull. Hell, I get keepers, you get keepers, we all get keepers, no big deal. We'll all happy. Now it's gotten cut-throat out there. Every bank I go to, tellers mention about people asking for halves. It's ridiculous. I hate doing it but everytime I ask a place whether they have halves and they say "no".. I dig out a roll or two of dumps in old paper from my back pocket and give it to them. Hopefully, they will discourage these newbies.
