The best part of this hobby is the people. The best times in my year are spent with these gentlemen of integrity. I managed to get to the NY/NJ area twice this year. I can’t thank my hosts enough. Here are some pics of Tnetters Scrappy, EastCoastHunter21, Bartek, Treblehunter, Kurtstuben, Loco-Digger, P@tch, Triple555nickel, Mangum & Smittyman.

OK, that’s enough of that. I could go on all evening, but I will spare you.

I enjoy the finds, but the real treasure for me is the people. I have had the opportunity to meet and hang out with some of the best people I’ve ever met. Thanks to all of you.

Thanks for looking, and best of luck in 2018.

Great stuff right there....all you guys had a great year.

Sweet. More impressive than your collection of cool recoveries is your perspective on what matters most, relationships. We all love digging old, shiny, and cool stuff, but in the end we ain't taking any of this stuff with us. It's the folks we meet along this journey that encourage and challenge us to be better human beings while becoming better at the sport of metal detecting. They say location is the KEY to finding the good stuff. I say locating good people to share in this amazing sport is the KEY to enhancing your enjoyment and pleasure while out experiencing nature and it's peaceful surroundings. I think you have this treasure hunting format down to a science Tom. Well done on a successful season gathering up the goodies and uniting in a common bond with some really cool people. ~S~:icon_salut:
