Best Straight Shaft for Exicalibur

I will be buying an Excalibur soon and would like to hear any recommendations for the best straight shaft for use on land, beach and surf with the best balance and workmanship.

I got the Florida straight shaft off of Ebay and am happy with it. NO fitting to tighten on the shaft, every thing just snaps together by the spring lock buttons, the handle is adjustable and what a difference it made in the amount of time I can swing my Excal

my vote goes for the Florida straight shaft too....been very happy with mine.....

My vote goes for hanging the controls from your neck. This way you aren't wasting time sliding your arm thru the arm cuff after you dig every target. There is hardly any weight on the arm except the coil.

I have been well pleased with my Anderson straight shaft. They have a selection of powder coated colors for a nominal fee. Service was excellent.
