Big Grass Field ... FINISHED.... PICTURES OF ALL THE FINDS...

[CRUSADER]

The grass is now too long to continue on the grass field. So will have to complete it another year.

Spent 38 days mostly with assistance from Dad but sometimes on my own.

This was a tough field by our standards but was it worth the 150 hour man effort? You tell me?

Definitely would say it was worth the effort! Awesome finds!

Seeing ALL of your finds in "one place" is just incredible. . . and yes,
VERY well worth your time. . . and the hammered silver, icing on the cake

(I seem to be on a metal detecting diet. . . no silver for awhile )

Take care,

Crusader,

I think those are man-hours Well Spent. My favorites are the "figure eight" buckle, the brass key (Medieval??), and of course the Romans and Hammered Silvers. I also like the little Byzantine cross in the sixth photo. What is the silver item right below it? It looks very interesting.
