BIG SILVER ~ 1933-S Walking Liberty Half dollar!

[oddcoins]

Hello everyone!

I actually wasn't planning on going detecting today. I had to work a few hours today ~ I'm a property manager and the first week of the month is very busy for me! I got done with my work a little earlier than I thought I was gonna and my wife suggested we go to the park so she can sit out in the nice weather and read, and I can go detecting! She talked me into it!

I ended up digging a few wheat cents, some clad, and a little silver ring. The last coin I dug today was a 1933-S Walking Liberty Half dollar! WOOHOO!!!!!! It was about 6 inches deep! This is my silver coin find #69 for the year! I also dug an old button and a weird little button thingy that reads, "ROCKY THE RANGE CHICKEN". Anyone ever see one of these thingies? Anyone know anything about the button either?!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Great finds Neil, Congrats!
The old button looks a lot like one I found in July of last year. They are blazer buttons from different golf corses.

I think the ones we have may be from this place, the: "Royal Blackheath Golf Club

Also a link to their main golf button page:http://www.golftracer.com/golftracer.org/buttons/buttdsplpage1.html

Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~
