A couple hours of hunting yielded my first walking liberty :hello2:. I was very happy with the hunt at this point so I didn’t care if I found anything else. After a few more beeps I found a wheat penny. An hour later I found a nice 14k chain weighing 10.92 grams. One of my last good targets was a dateless Buffalo nickel. The yellow earring and one of the stud earrings were found in a shopping center parking lot on the same day. It was a great day to be out and the finds made it even better. The clad total for the day was $6.51. With this hunt I completed my first year with Equinox 800 and it has been a blast. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

WELL DONE! Big silver first and 10 plus grams of 14k makes for an EXCELLENT day. Throw in a few more keepers and a nice clad total, sweet. Grats!

Brilliant Racso, just Brilliant!

Remember the scene in the movie "10" with Bo Derrick running down the beach toward the camera in slo-mo? I think walking liberty's got that topped no contest!

Many happy returns!

Is that the standing Liberty or the walking eagle? Don't know which side is my favorite. Beauty

I've noticed most of the walkers found on here are from the WW2 era. During the war, the mint cranked up production of silver and made way more than the years before the war. Now, if I could only find one! Gary

Although I’ve watched a lot of movies I had to look this one up and I must agree. HH

Too bad they don’t make good coins like they used to, but I guess that’s what makes the older one’s that much better. HH
