A couple hours of hunting yielded my first walking liberty :hello2:. I was very happy with the hunt at this point so I didn’t care if I found anything else. After a few more beeps I found a wheat penny. An hour later I found a nice 14k chain weighing 10.92 grams. One of my last good targets was a dateless Buffalo nickel. The yellow earring and one of the stud earrings were found in a shopping center parking lot on the same day. It was a great day to be out and the finds made it even better. The clad total for the day was $6.51. With this hunt I completed my first year with Equinox 800 and it has been a blast. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Those my age find no solace in the modern coins that seem abstractions compared to the classic beauty of our past coinage. I guess in some ways some folks might object to the symbolism of Gods and Goddesses, from the monotheistic aspect. I'd rather be inspired by Gods and Goddesses than not be inspired at al, and dang it, beautiful is beautiful!
