Big silver - small silver

[CASPER-2]

went to one of my old salt water spots
started the day with a deep target that was all encrusted - couple of shakes of the scoop and
the center fell out and saw I had a large silver ring - dropped in my pouch - jiggling with the other finds
slowly knocked the crust off - so by the time I got back to my car - I could see I had an old military ring - believe its army air corp
ended up with 6 silver dimes - four are mercs other 2 are roosies
was hoping for some gold - but happy with the silvers

Awesome looking ring! I'd love to find one like that. I once found an Eagle Scout's ring. Through several months of research and tracking I found the owner who had lost it six years prior to me finding it. It was a great feeling being able to return it to him. Love this hobby! HH

Ive have found several examples now of it - I cant make out what it say under my eagle - but can read "PILOT OFFICER"
above the eagle -
one similar - guy said his grandfather was an army air corps -bomber pilot in European theater
most of your Pacific theater were Marine pilots I think
The other ring almost identical has "PILOT USAAF' - above eagle which is United States Army Air Force
they all command a pretty good price for being silver
saw one like mine in gold - that would have been nice

I found a big gold similar to yours in 2012 with eagles on both sides but whatever was on face was missing - so don't know if it was a class ring or military
