those are really nice specimens. You have samples you are giving out? I would be intersted.

Wow, how interesting!
What is the blue showing in the upper right corner of pic #3?
Are these colors natural or, filtered lens induced?
I now nothing about rocks/geology but pretty is pretty no matter the shade!

GRB: You mean the flowers?? :P
Azurite is often blue in color.

Lovely specimens for sure!!! :o

Hello EU!
Actually, I like those flowers also but my question was regarding what appears to be turquoise colored sky right above! :)

The blue you see is all natural in the rock,it is everywhere. There is no trick photography or lens filters used, the photo was taken with a HTC cell phone / camera.

golden royboy was asking about the third picture with the blue in the upper right corner, that is the sky, and those green things are plants. I tried to fit everything into the photo but I am too close, with no room to back up without falling off of the mountain side, this spot is way off the beaten path up the side of a very steep mountain side.

That's nice Dan!

I'd like a bit to try and slice and polish up...

PM me if you do wish to share a bit of it.

Thanks,

Wow, cool colorations! Thanks for sharing.

I'd like a sample as well, how do I go about that?
