✅ SOLVED brass buckle with caduceus medical symbol

Found this interesting piece with Garrett Pro in woods, blue ridge mountain area. I think its brass, but perhaps copper. It is almost 1/8" thick. Thank you for any input!

I think that symbol with the 2 snakes, staff, and wings is medical.
I like it what ever it is!!

Hey Cardoo!! Bramblefind nailed it!! Those emblems actually attached to the license plate on a car to show a physician was driving in an emergency!! I still have one, rather unique piece, but obviously outdated with our high tech methods today!! Really is a nice find!! GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!
