Brinks Bags??

I have read several posts where you guys talk about getting bags off of counter machines.
In my area we have no counters for public use but the banks have counters they use 'in the back'.
The main vault teller who oversees ordering for the different branches they have in our area asked
me if I had to have my halves in rolls from Brinks or can my order be for Brinks bags, unrolled. Just
wondering if others have heard of this, or if the bank is most likely bagging up the dumps they get from
other branches and selling to me. I've never heard of anyone mentioning a Brinks bag, only bags from
the banks counter machines, so I thought I would ask...

You'll be getting bags from coin counting machines. You might well indeed get mostly or all dumps from other CRHers, but you have the possibility of a really big score. I'd go for it.

If it's the bags from their coin machines, I'd do it! But I think it is possible to order bags from Brinks. I have seen some people post here talking about them and that they were about the same as boxes silver-wise.

I have gotten more bags than boxes, I would rather have the bags. Easy to sort, count and refill. The 1,000.00 bags are heavy so bring a dolley. Even though the coins rub against each other, there is less damage then a coin roller machine that rings the end of a roll.

And Scored $ 8.50 In Silver Lots Of 40"s And 50"s In The Box

I would jump on the bag also. I would think you have better chance of scoring some silver with bags. As the boxes that I have been doing has really been bad........Matt

Keep in mind that only the 1942-1945 nickles are silver.
