We've been so tired the last two nights, that we did not have any time to post, so this post is for the first three days.
On Thursday we went to a great cellar hole that produced some nice coins for Rick, including an 1881 Indian head and a 1837 hard Times token. We also came into a spot where a whole harness must have been thrown, or it was a buckle cache.
On Friday we went to a beautiful cellar hole that overlooks the mountains in all its color. (some of those pictures tomorrow). It was a beautiful spot, but there was not much there, (actually, one button).
Today we hit a corn field that had just been cut down. I had been in the field adjacent to it before and had not found much, but today really surprised us. I found a King George III copper, Rick located a beautiful 1743 10 Reis from Portugal and a 1815 Trade and Navigation token from Nova Scotia. I also found a really nice powder flask, an interesting curved shield horse fixture and a pretty little cuff button with a script A on it.
We will post more pictures tomorrow. Thanks for looking, Lance and Rick
