I posted this on today's finds but thought I'd also post it here to see if I could get any answers. I'm starting to think maybe something to do with suspenders? Any ideas?

Your find looks like a man's 1950's initial belt buckle. They were popular from the 1930's through the 1950's. Yours looks like it has a "B" on it. Here's one by Hickok that is similar:
