Buffalo Nickel with "M" on back?

I'm not positive it really is a "M" I don't have my magnifying glass so I decided to post it to see what you guys think. It might be just the way I cleaned it, but found it interesting. The year is 1920. It's the first buffalo nickel I found metal detecting. The M is located behind the knee of the front leg. Let me know what you think. I'll have my jeweler s lens tomorrow.

It looks like an M to the eye but after further inspection it's from cleaning. I tried deleting this post on the app but can't find where to do that.
