Duffy, Do me a favor. Take 2 pairs of pliers, pad them with a cloth, put one on the bottom at the rings, and the other on the middle, then twist the bottom. As you are twisting, pull. You may need a little WD-40 around the bottom ring area. After you finish, post what happened. I think Max would be proud . . .Factor that is. Welcome to the forum, Breezie

Here are some old lipstick tubes to compare. If you still feel that it is not one at least post dimensions or place a ruler for scale.

think its a plumbing air resistor/hammer

Nope.

It's a lipstick tube as stated above.

I saw your post on todays finds. You have found a nice spot. When you go back, set your disc very low and dig everything that beeps. Listen for those faint, deep tones. There's a lot more there to be found.

It'd sure be nice to have some dimensions or something to scale this to... :dontknow:

I'm sure the minute I make a comment or guess..."Monty" will jump in and scream...."He's OFFENDED" :o..... that I think the TNET'rs are lying to me again :laughing7: if I don't go along with thinking this is a Lip Stick Tube.....or a bullet. So I'll play it safe and agree.....you'z guys must be tellin' the truths.....yes sir...its a "Bullet shaped Lip Stick Tube". :icon_thumleft:
I agree with Breezie before she pulled it.....I'll like to see you soak it and gently twist it open.

:D
