Those are fantastic! I’d love to find a tiny point like those. I don’t have anything intact that’s even close.

If I tried to clean my finds in my mouth, I’d have a mouthful of mud... or E. coli if found near a creek.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

Here are a few of my smallest points. I'm amazed they were able to notch these tiny points.

Those are some little guys . Is number three a Redding Side Notched Variant ? I like that little point a day maker for sure .

Dennis,
I'm not really sure...….its somewhat out of the area for a Redding which as you know is more of a Nor Cal variety. Its from NV and though its really small, reminds me more of a tiny Elko Eared. It's probably actually just a Desert series variety of some kind?

This thread has some great micro points, but that black one in the middle is the tiniest I've ever seen. Terrific.

I think we have a new champ haha wow not only fits easily on the dime it fits easily on his head

What can you tell me about your points in the pic?
I have a bunch that are very similar but not from my area.
I’m sure my dad got these somewhere , most of my collection was my dads and I remember hunting artifacts with him and his friends when I was a lot younger. Most of the frames I have are from the tri state area he hunted in
I wish I would have asked more questions because he could tell you where every piece came from

Those little gems are from the pacific north west along the Columbia river drainage thanks for asking .

I'd love to know why so small? Those are awesome!

No way this one would be in the running, but I'm throwing it on here anyway. Way back when I was coaching my son's little league baseball team, we were out practicing late one day. I was hitting them balls and all of them were "down and ready" when Luke started yelling at me "Daddy!" I'm like, "What in the world?" He yells, "Birdpoint!" Of course, I couldn't even tell you what sport we were practiicing at that point. When I saw it in his hand, I was floored that as many cleats have rounded second that this thing was still intact. The other part of this story is when I asked him if he wanted to put his only bird in the frame with mine, he declined. In hindsight, he couldn't have made a better decision, because it would've been stolen with all the others.

I believe the first picture is smallest I have. It’s sitting on an 1851half some.

Dang that’s nice!

I have a couple half dimes but they are fastened to an Native American necklace. I’ll see if I can get one on one.

Bumping because hokie222 may be interested in other small points
