Nice one! I had one about the same size, but managed to lose it, imagine that. Make sure and keep track of that one, the micro points are tough to find and easy to lose.

I had a triangular arrow point that size, but alas, it was in a frame of birdpoints stolen out of my shop a few years ago. Yours is nothing short of fantastic. What's the story behind it?

Was walking the woods in south east Kansas one day and saw a big tree had tipped over and there was a big pile of dirt I looked closer and there was all kinds of flakes in the dirt, I carefully looked the root ball top to bottom and found this point and a pair of larger but similar points. Every once in a while I take a shovel and turn the dirt over and let the rain expose more but there’s less and less coming out

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1560050782.728654.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1560050806.151447.jpg did find this little flake/scraper last time

Im sorry to hear of the missing points. I know the feeling of losing a point I found this one in a different spot but I thought I had lost it for about a year, I put in my pocket to show a buddy and it was gone I checked every inch of my car, I took my dryer apart, flipped my couch and chair over to no avail. Losing that point just ate at me every time I looked at the others. One day I was reorganizing my display case which is a grid of boxes inside a large box and a glass front. As I pulled things out I heard something drop and I saw the point halfway between two boxes behind the wood divider. It had gotten wedged back there i was so relieved And could finally stop kicking myself for being so careless

I will look for mine its a .5 inch triangle. I find some tiny ones but its a back bending hobby cause you have to touch every flake. Even dirty if you find one you will know it cause its worked on both sides not just one. Found it had to put it in its own frame as you can see. :laughing7: North Georgia surface dirt finds

It's hard to keep from losing or damaging those little ones. When I find a tiny bird point, I just put it between my lips. After a few minutes, even if you open your mouth, it's stuck securely to your bottom lip. Sounds sorta weird and gross, but it has worked every time for me.

Not gross at all I field wash a lot of my points while out just have to remember to spit and not swallow and try to wipe off as much dirt as possible before the insert.

I’ll give it to him haha if not by size he’s got 3 to my 2 ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1560091860.300853.jpg
let’s see if someone has an even smaller one
I carry a Gatorade bottle and I put my small stuff in there and cap it so I can’t lose it. Then when home I flush them out over a fine mesh colander haven’t lost anything yet.

The little box is a good idea I need to do that with my lone bead I found and don’t know how to display without losing

right after I found mine I was bragging to a friend about it and he said well bring it over and lets see. So I did and low and behold he says hold out your hand and see if mine is smaller. His was a .25 of an inch. No pics but I couldnt believe it and he saw it while walking.

Found this little guy 2 times. Dropped him at my feet right after finding him.... I couldn’t believe how long it took me to find it again. It was standing on its side against a piece of organic debris in the field.

Here is a believe it or not. Friends wife had just found a thin smokin bird point. She let me look at it and I put in my mouth to clean it .When I went to take it out of my mouth the suction between tongue and point snapped tip off. I was humiliated and shocked it even happened. She was not happy either.
