I'm new to hunting artifacts. I found this on the lake behind my house. Hartwell Georgia Lake Hartwell. You can tell it might be something but I'm not sure what.

You are in a good area and have the base to bifurcate triangle and they range from Paleo on. My guess is that Hatrwell in an impounded lake.? They covered up many sites along the creeks that are now flooded.
Good moring and have a super day. It a silicate material( quartz) which is common in your area being around the gold belt.

Welcome to Tnet! You have a broken point could be very old? Some of my first finds came the lake area/Found some good ones before the lake was filled!
