Can You Believe This Weather?

[nebstater]

What a beautiful day. It hit the low 70's here today, but winter is supposed to move in in the next 24 hours. So decided to go and do a little swingin. About a month ago, I hit a spot in one of the parks here, that yeilded up a nice '64 Rosie. I went back to that spot again last week, and only found a little clad and a 1917 wheat. Today, I decided to hit it one more time, and dig every signal. I also worked the area from a different direction, and was really pleasantly surprised with my results. I didn't find too much, and I knew that I wouldn't because of my 2 prior hunts of the area, but going very slowly, and digging those suspicous signals paid off. I guess that it is true, when they say an area is never dug out. HH Larry

Nice Rosie...it's feels great when you look down and can see a shiny coin in the ground...you know it has to be silver..HH and find some more b4 winter hits.

Nice Rosie, Larry. Silver is always a pleasant surprise. Gotta love how clean they look when they come out of the ground.

Good for you, and your weather.

Kas is right. In the 50's here today in N. Central Ohio, and spitting rain. The bottom falls out by Thursday though. Down into the 30's.....Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I envy those who can hunt year-round. Detecting's about over for me. Time to stow equipment, dive into Research, and contemplate my next purchase....

P.S. I added a Sabre II to my arsenal the other night. One came available and I jumped on it,,, well, I actually didn't "jump on it ", my fat A$$ woulda broke it . What really happened was, I scrambled furiously to locate the Buy It Now button.

Awesome! Silver is always a welcome sight, looks like that park has potential.
I hit my usual park yesterday too, cause of the weather coming in.
