CAST Eagle Tongue Buckle

Mark and I headed back to a site we had hunted in the past and hiding in the heavy iron were a few nice relics. Amazing how you can hunt a site and then go back and find big targets in areas that you had hunted. Got to love this hobby!! That's why we hunt our sites a dozen times or so and then a few more!! LOL That is 4-5 buckle parts in the last month or so. Love it when these heavy cast ones pop out!!

Gold Rush area along a creek the miners were working. We always check the flats along the creek and this flat area is loaded with iron. Square nails in every hole!!
