~~~Cellar Holes~~~ Random Woods Roaming ~~~~Some hard earned goodies...

Got out a couple different times this weekend

Put the monster coil and went to one of my favorite cellars..I had to work for it but managed a few keepers in 4 hours..

KG Copper i think from the 1750's??

And then a 1898 dime spill of 2 coins about 3 feet away

Must have been a trip spill

Then went scouting a huge new section i call "Walled in Woods" there are huge walls running everywhere you turn,hike look!!!Sweet spot..

Found the graveyard out there was a beauty then the cellar area had been bulldozed..Way to thick to hunt i will return..

Got a beauty of a Dandy with Decor on it

Went hiking some more and found this Stonehenge looking Cellar

It was quiet around there with me only pulling a plain Dandy out of the ferns

There are more Cellars out there so the scouting begins

Nice work JB! Sites are so scattered around here and they didn't build the stone walls for some reason, although there is plenty of stone in some areas. You just can't roam through the woods following stone walls out here. There are lots of stone walls in northern Virginia, although I always assumed they were built by slaves. It takes a lot of work to build those walls - the whole family probably got in on the act!

That barber dime spill may have been from a hunter.

Thanks for sharing your Finds. Also Great Pictures . I haven't found any Silver in Land areas for along time but getting the 1800's Silver coins from the Beach. Hope that was a King Snake, I am not into Snakes or Alligators.,
