Hey y'all, I went to the house I found the silver quarter and found this military whistle. From what I understand, the US military police used these whistles. What makes it really cool is that someone carved "JON M" on the side. It still has the wood cork. Any info is appreciated

WF, I just saw this on the Middle Tennewssee Civil War Relics website. Larry does not generally list anything but CW relics but did have this WW2 grouping for sell. He calls the whistle a "Drill Whistle". FYI & HH, Q.
