Yall let me Know what youve heard from RR and family, This Ike thing going a little more west now as of today, course only time will tell, I can handle a few refuges if neccesary. If a direct hit cat 4-5 hit and came across us we could expect 60 mile winds Max. Still enough to sleep in the shelter, but anything less would be tolerable.
Geez Noodle yall are still flooding? Thats just crazy.

Hey TC she knows I had the weather ch on while we were talkin and they are just gonna hunker down I was keepin advised on the changes we were on the phone for couple hours and it was changing while we were talking.


More up date she said her daughterinlaws mom is doing fine from the liver transplant and got to come home 2 weeks ago and if I heard her right that shewas taken to Gainsville til this is over!

Right now they just workin on gettintrees cleared and fence lines back up.


She loved all the anniversary wishes I read them all to her she did laugh sooooo hard that is when she said she'd send ya'll her love bugs that are swarmin hehe!

But she is good and wants everyone to know that and keep them in your prayers for the next ones commin in, shes thinkin about you Brenda and your DRIVEWAY! Cause she can not get down hers!

TexCon, I guess our problem was that Gus came up from the south and dropped sooooo much rain, in already saturated land, that our 20" had no place to go. It just all began to pile up, then stack really high up, and finally found no place to go.

I consider us, me and Dan, very lucky. We're only about a foot higher than 100 year flood, but it worked. We stayed several feet above at the greenhouse and cabin from being flooded. You should have seen our chickens. During the height of the storm, several hours of 30-40-50 mph winds, they hunkered down all over the place. We found chickens in all manner of disposition. Have 3 with babies. Very grumpy!! But surviving very well!

Still waiting for direct communication from Judie. Soooooo glad to hear from RickyP!!!!

I think I saw Huston next, but, I also saw goin across Fla. on the far South side then into the gulf up across the boot toe of LA. then N.E. It changes evrytime I flip over to the weather channel.

When I talked to Judie she said they turn the TV on some and can et some local stuff but with out her cable she can not get the Weather Ch.

I am just praaying for everyone that might be in danger from the storms!
