I’ve about gave up looking for stuff and I got a new find on my place I have been detecting on for almost a year and how I missed it or I ignore the signal with my f70 but with my simplex I dug it my first “good” old find with my simplex. 10 miles north of Selma can’t tie it directly to the battle but I live on a road thst union soldiers could have used on the way to Selma.

Looks like the real deal! Probably more there. Detect it under different conditions, especially a lond rain.

Definitely a fired CW bullet. A look inside the base might give you a little more info, such as Georgia Teat, Washington Arsenal, etc.

People are saying it looks like a plug base first thing I did was look for that star.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

YAYYY!!!!!! Remember when you are digging in Civil war country, dig EVERYTHING you hear, even Iron!
